I have never worked with such a professional and dedicated team of home remodelers and handyman. When my aunt had a stroke, I had just four weeks to get her house ready to sell. I called A & E Painting & Home Renovations construction company on a Monday and the next day I met Alvin at the house. He and his team worked tirelessly for the next few weeks. Everyone I met was knowledgeable, courteous and focused. The to do list was daunting, especially as new problems and obstacles were encountered but when they were done, the house was no longer a work in progress. It was ready to sell!
Work completed: whole kitchen remodel inc. minor flood damage restoration, ceiling & drywall repair, wallpaper removal, faux interior painting and new kitchen cabinets, bathroom upgrades inc. tile flooring, straightened a porch railing, upgraded to energy efficient window replacements, installed closet shelves and baseboards, extensive roof repairs, exterior power washing and two-tone house painting (I was insisting on siding replacement but A & E said I didn't need it and I'm so glad they talked me out of it because they were right).
A & E Painting & Home Remodeling have done many home improvement projects for us including most recently our guest bathroom and kitchen remodel as well as all kinds of interior and exterior painting and other siding and roofing repairs etc. A & E work to keep their prices reasonable for their customers and they do an amazing job. If you are looking for a fancy interior designer with full color brochures and a portfolio of celebrity homes on their laptop, this may not be the construction company for you. However if you are looking for a home renovation company to do basic handyman to more extensive labor intensive room additions and remodels, A & E are fantastic to work with! As general contractors, they can handle all phases of construction and are very responsive to your questions and concerns.
My dear old Mom has been lusting after and hinting at the kitchen of her dreams for as long as I can remember. She keeps all of her interior painting and decorating ideas in a binder and is constantly adding to it. Finally on my parents 35th wedding anniversary and after her dishwasher overflowed and caused extensive water damage, my siblings and I were able to pitch in and give her the kitchen remodeling design she always wanted, starting with the flood damage restoration, ugly wallpaper removal and drywall repair and complete with stained kitchen cabinets and new tile flooring. A & E also opened up a wall so that Mom can be part of the fun when we meet at her house for our family get-togethers. A&E came to us with high recommendations, mainly as exterior painters, roofers and for siding replacement but I can sincerely say their interior painter and home remodel work is just as noteworthy! A & E Painting and Home Remodeling is a fantastic home restoration and construction company. We called them after our bathroom flooded while we were at work. It's a long story but we called some of the bigger flood damage restoration companies but they couldn't come out for days. My neighbor recommended A & E after they had done some exterior home remodeling for them - some storm damage roofing repairs, hardiplank siding replacement and as a deck builder. They raved about their attention to detail and commitment to high quality in the home repairs and improvements. I liked that they were local so we called them and they came out about an hour later! After consulting with them and listening to their interior designing ideas, we decided to take this disaster as an opportunity and embark on the master bathroom remodeling project we had been dreaming about ever since my husband and I bought the house over six years ago. I love my husband but he really can't complete even the simplest of handyman tasks let along a bathroom remodel. Luckily A & E took care of everything - the new bathroom cabinets, shower enclosure, drywall repair, interior painting and tile flooring and it looks and feels great!
Overall A & E Painting & Restoration have done a fantastic job for us in all the home repairs and renovations we have hired them to perform. They are always very professional and detail oriented and keep me informed of any concerns. I initially used them for some storm damage roofing repairs and exterior painting. Many neighbors must have been impressed with all the power washing and prep they did before they even started painting because they requested their contact info during the few days they were working on our home. We liked getting credit for finding these roofers and painters even though it was sheer luck! After that we moved on to the interior painting and drywall during our kitchen remodel (that looks amazing by the way). A & E's home remodeling team worked closely with my wife's interior designer. Again, their residential painters took a great deal of care with all of the paint prep (not a drop went where it shouldn't). We called them back for hardiplank siding replacement of our home and a new wooden fence out front and again, several of our neighbors stopped by and told us how great our house and yard looks! We feel like this construction company can tackle any handyman or home improvement project and plan to keep putting them to the test!
I want to congratulate and thank A & E Painting & Renovations for working with my wife and I in the recent bathroom remodel of our Katy home. We selected A & E interior painters and home renovators after interviewing several home remodeling and construction companies and asking for recommendations from friends and family. Alvin's name came up several times - he had been integral in the whole home siding installation of one friend and the power washing and exterior painting for a family member. We sought to engage a firm in whom we could work in addressing a number of interior design questions we had and help us in the selection of construction materials - tile, lighting fixtures, bathroom cabinets and how it would all fit together. We were very impressed with A&E as a general contractor. They were very responsive to getting work done promptly and receptive to questions and suggestions we had during the process of installation of bathroom cabinetry, tile flooring and shower enclosure and of course wallpaper removal and new interior painting. We will certainly recommend them to anyone who inquires. We have enjoyed showing off our remodeling work to neighbors and friends and sharing with them A & E as a home improvement company we recommend if they wish to undertake similar projects.
We were referred to A & E Painting & Renovations by a friend at work who had used them for her hardiplank siding replacement and some storm damage roofing repairs as part of the exterior tenant improvements on a rental property. She was really pleased with all the work done, especially the window replacement and how everything fit together within her price range. I have to agree with her because after vetting other construction companies, A & E were closest to my budget. The general contractor work they provided was well worth the money too. They completed our kitchen remodeling project in its entirety from the wallpaper stripping, drywall finishing, matching texture and interior painting of the walls to the wood floor refinishing of our kitchen floor. They even did some ceiling repair that was needed after our upstairs bathroom flooded months ago. We didn't think about the kitchen ceiling during the flood damage restoration. Anyway, I don't know if we should call them out for our master bathroom remodel or some outside home improvements first. I've always wanted to hire a professional deck builder and fencing company to help makeover the backyard and now I've found one!
